StackPair is an iOS and Web app that does skill-based job matching for technical professionals and employers.
The core service enabling StackPair's job matching abilities is written in Go. It leverages Natural Language Processing techniques to infer candidate skill sets and position requirements. Search and other tagging functionality is powered by the same Go library running as its own service. Ruby on Rails 5 powers most of the Cordova and Web app.
StackPair runs on Google Cloud Engine and relies on Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached.
Its front-end is pure HTML, JS, and CSS and does not rely on any libraries in order to streamline delivery of job listings as ads to other platforms.
StackPair Insights displays skill set demand reports in an easy to read format that is powered by D3.
Currently it monitors over two-thousand companies' positions and continuously monitors for changes in opportunity availability.
StackPair instantly matches candidates with opportunities requiring their skill sets.
It puts the important information up front allowing users to quickly tell if a position is a good match for them.
One-click apply instantly makes applicant details available to the hiring company.
